Self-Care Retreat
|
|
How
would you feel if you took time to reflect, renew, and rediscover yourself?
What possibilities would you attract if you carved out the time to truly
care for yourself? In order to know who we are and to fully inhabit our
lives, we need time for retreat—time to stop,
feel, listen, rest, and re-connect with ourselves. Mindfulness practice
shows us that peace and happiness are here in the present moment. It
reminds us of our inherent capacity for healing and renewal that we often
lose sight of in the busyness of our lives.
|
|
We
invite you to join us in a serene setting for a nurturing day of
mindfulness, rest, creativity, writing, meditation, and other reflective
practices to re-connect with your center. This experiential retreat is an
opportunity for you to journey inward, explore your internal landscape at a
deeper level, and cultivate true compassion for the self.

Stress Management and Wellness
|
|
We
all encounter stress in our lives, both eustress
(good) and distress (bad). Research shows us the direct negative
implications for the low-grade chronic hum of stress that many people
experience. The negative implications impact us on all levels of health and
well-being. With effective stress management, participants can expect to
find strategies that will work to enhance mental, emotional, physical, and
even spiritual health. We believe in an integral approach to stress
management, and will show you how to create a healthy, balanced life. In
this workshop, we explore a variety of stress management strategies and
concepts, both experientially and didactic. You can expect to expand your
toolbox on effectively managing the stress life presents and experiencing
wellness on many different levels.
